If I put a 2" lift on my 2000 Supercab 4WD, will I have any trouble fitting 16x10s under there? And which is the better choice of tire, the 305/75/16 or the 33x12.50, or are they basically the same size? I don't want to have to do any fender trimming. Thanks.

Go with the 3" lift (Im guessing you're talking about body lifts)...
#1 The 3" lift is only like $10 more.
#2 The 3" lift comes with rear bumper relocation brackets which will make your truck look better.
To answer your other question, 33x12.50's or 305/75R16's will fit fine with either the 2" or the 3" body on 16x10 wheels, but again, just for that extra clearance, do the 3".

 

Thanks. Yeah, I was talking about a body lift. I would prefer a suspension lift, but have not found anyone who makes a 2" or 3" suspension lift. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough. Anyway, thanks for the input and nice truck.

 

No one makes a 3" suspension lift for the 97+ F150's. Just 4 and 5's.

 

33s fit fine under a stock 4x4.

You will need to do one of 3 things to get them to clear without rubbing:

1. crank the torsion bars about 1.5". Best option
2. Trim the front valence under the bumper
3. relocate the bumper farther forward 1"
