Upper Control Arms

I installed my 2" leveling kit on my 97 2wd f150. I plan to put 2" blocks in the back so I can fit 285/75/r16 and give it a non leveld 4x4 stance. If I wanted a level look i could install 2" coil springs along with my spacer. But that is over 4" of lift in the front and most of the guys on here say you cant go hire than 2.5" or you will need new UCA's. If i do this where can I find some aftermarket UCA's to fit. Thanks.

At the most you still should only do 3" even with the uca's. Anything above that and it's still fair game for blowing through ball joints and tie rod ends.

You might be better of looking into a spindle lift.

For control arms doestch, springtech, Canuck motorsports, and fabtech all make them. If you ever plan on running fabtech spindles you'll need fabtech arms, any other brand of spindle however will work with any of the arms I mentioned.

I think it was Camberg that used to make longer upper control arms. Fabtech may have also.

If I were you, I'd just run a set of spindles.

Spindles keep stock geometery but you still have more leverage on the ball joints, it will eat them faster than stock, but less than if you did spacer and springs
