hell bent steel level

Just got my hell bent steel 2.5" front end level kit. Ive noticed a lot of guys also doing something with the rear as well. If i don't block the rear is my front end going to look crazy higher or will it just look "level" unloaded?

If you have an 05 like it says in your info, you should be fine with the 2.5". It may sit a tad nose high but no more than .5". I had this on my 06 and it sat half an inch higher up front. The guide is that a 2.5" will level out a 04-05 and a 2" will level out an 06-08.

I have the HBS 2.5" on my 08 4x4 scab and it sits perfectly level unloaded. I am installing the ProComp long AAL this weekend though, lots of winter driving with an 08 Ski Doo in the bed and I hate the sag.

I too have a HBS 2.5" kit on my '07 FX4 and I didn't like the way it sat. The front was a little high for me so I put a 1" block on the rear. I like the truck to sit a little lower in the front. Plus it adds another inch!!!
My humble opinion.....

I guess my next question is, then if i 1" block the rear and 2.5" level the front are my tires going to look funny?

I guess it all depends on what kind of personality your tires have and what kind of jokes they tell.

I would not do a block. I would get a 1.5 inch Pro Comp Add Leaf

2.5" will level the truck out perfectly. 1" block will give you rake.

i don't know if you are 4x4 or not but heres my fx4 with a 2.5" HBS on 35's

I agree with fishing junkie. I added blocks and it put so much pressure on the middle of the leaf that it made them almost flat loosing some use of that suspension. I just added a 2.5in add a leaf and the stock block and removed the 3 in block and I increased the height by 1.5 in. Mine has some rake to it but that's because I'm usually towing
