Shocks/Struts

First time poster- Just bought an 05 V6 and going to put an AS 2.5" lift on it. In the process, I want to do a couple of other things to smooth the ride. Should I put new shocks/struts? What would you recommend. Anything else while we are in process of lifting it? I don't want to dump a ton of money in it. Next will be some 33" tires and rims.

You should just buy leveling struts and kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks Buxton! Is there any benefits to doing both a leveling kit and new shocks/struts?
