steering stabilizer needed?

My stock tires finally wore out and I went with a tire that is almost 33". The rest of the suspension is stock, no leveling kit or anything. I am getting feedback and the steering has a looser feel to it. Would a stabilizer help to reduce this? It's not bad but I would like it to closer to how it was without going back to a smaller tire. Thanks

How are your ball joints, tie rods, etc?

A steering stablizer is a mask for other issues, find the problem and fix it. The tires probably are making you more aware of the issue.

Everything seemed tight when I had it on the hoist changing out the tires. I am going to do the yearly oil change tomorrow and will take a look again. The truck has mostly highway miles and has around 45k.

If you have no loose play in the steering linkage I would look to the shocks as a source of bounce and poor handling.
