Depending on how many miles are on the truck you will need new shocks and struts also.
Look at the Rancho 9000 quicklift and do it all at once front and rear. Mine is almost perfectly level, slightly high in the rear which is good when I tow.

I've been going back and forth for weeks between the rough country 2.5 inch with the 1 inch block and the AS 2.5 inch with the 3 inch rear block. I just ordered the AS kit last week and it'll be on in a week or so. I'm gonna run 315/70/17's with it. That's just my 2 cents.

Check out Bilstein 5100s. I couldn't be much happier with mine.

did you only put the bilsteins up front? Did it bring it level or did you have to put a block in the rear? Thanks for your help

Yes, the 5100s are only in the front. This makes it sit dead level.

I just installed a Hell Bent Steel 2.5" kit on my 2006 F150 today, and couldnt be happier. was exceptionally easy to install (with the right tools) and only cost me $70 for the kit. ordered it on a thursday afternoon and had it by saturday afternoon. (just had to wait for access to a shop to install)

Another vot for Bilsteins. Being an 06 you probably need new shocks. Bilsteins set to 2" work great. I love mine. You can pick up a set for $300 roughly I think. And you will be getting new shocks and leveling kit at the same time. Plus they look cool!

I have Autospring 2.5" and from my understanding, its been on truck a few years (ive only had a year). It rides perfect and stis perfect. Plus its alot cheaper than shocks or what not. its like $90 for the kit plus another $45 of alignment
