you wont need any wheel spacers with that much lift. I feel if you want to go 35s and not go to high you won need the body lift.

I have a 6 inch fabtech and a two inch body lift on 37x13.5x17 nitto mud grapplers. They clear just fine. My torsion bars are are also at stock height.

it will be a little sluggish with 35's and 3.55 gears but, a programmer will help a little with the power and shift points. idk where you live but make sure you get a transmission cooler if you dont have one.

might want to consider regearing depending on where you drive and if you tow at all.

Well I live in ohio.We have some hills nothing really big.I am gonna be taken it off road some, but nothing crazy.I wont be doing much hauling maybe an 18 foot boat everyonce in a while and probably a little 8 foot trailer a good bit but besides that hardly no hauling.I am planning on adding a chip to the truck, plus headers, plus Flowmaster 17472 exhaust so that should increase power and give me that boost there. If the trany cooler isnt a must I really dont want to add it and if the gears isnt a must I really dont want to do that.I'm trying to do it as cheap as possiable but still built good.I have the towing package on it now that I am thinking.Would that have the tranny cooler ? Plus it has like and off road package kinda. It dosent have the bigger tires but complete like skid plates and stuff with only 17 inch tires. Thanks for ll the help you have been given me!

You can't do cheap as possible and built well. You can pick one or the other.

Tranny cooler is a good idea, beats dropping 2k on a new trans. not sure if your truck has it, someone a little more familiar with the 97-03 body style should know.

flowmaster ain't gonna do crap, save your money and put it some where it counts.

A chip? read up, programmers are what people do now. Contact VMP or Troyer for a good set of tunes.

Gears: $1500 on average for front and rear. Good idea IMO if you can afford it.

i agree with yz, you cant have cheap and well built

if you have the tow package then you should have a cooler. it will be on the passenger side. its about 6x6 looks like this one.

depends on what you want. you can get a used programmer for about 200. but then there are also custom tunes you can do which is about 400 i think.

the reason you replace gears is to relieve the strain on the engine and transmission when you install the bigger tires.

Posting on something you have no clue about when you just joined doesn't make you look to smart .

The reason to re-gear is less strain on the transmission, bringing power back closer to stock, fuel mileage to a point, and crawl ratio on 4wd's (don't think that's to important on a f150 though)
