lowering springs on lowering struts

has anyone else tried to install a 2" spring on the belltech 3" struts?

The only issue I can think you'd have would be alignment. You can check with SPC for alignment bushings.

I did on the GF truck a few years back and when you jack the truck up the spring doesn't sit in the rubber bushing anymore but that nothing major and we also had one leak but I think it was a bad weld because the otherside is still good. Truck needed a few modifications to get the alignment done

You are looking at a lot of modifications to be able to align. I wish it was this easy to drop the truck 5inches
I'm doing control arms,struts and spindles to get my desired 6" inch drop

5" dropped in front: permanent rubbing on top of inner fender wheel.

that would be the case on my fx2 anyways.
I'm 3/5 droppes and only have about 2 1/4 " left between tire and inner fender (even with the liner removed)
