From 3/5 drop to 6" lift

After 6 months of battleling in my head finally lifted my f150. Why you may ask? Because although I loved my truck lowered the handleling the ride and sportyness of it, I to a boat just about every week and it became a hassle putting air on my bags every time i wanted to tow. I used a 6" skyjacker lift kit, paid $975 shipped to my front door. I installed the kit my selff in my garage. Because I had to undo the rear flip kit it took me a total of 12 hrs by myself to do the job. I took it this weekend after doing the job and I got to say should of lifted a while back. Rides smooth and looks great. The wheels are monster xd's on toyo mt 35x12.50d 18 Here the before and after.

I never say this, but I think I actually liked the looks of it better lowered. Maybe it's just the contrast of the chrome in the wheels. Looks good lifted though.

love it man. i have the same wheels and intend on putting on a set of 35's or 36's also with a 6 inch lift. only thing thats different is that i just have a SCAB not a SCREW. gives me a good idea of what mine will look like.

I wanted to leave it lowered but it was such a pain towing with it. Not too mention it was a bumpy ride with the air bags at 80lbs. And btw I haven't seen much diff in mpgs going from 24's to 35's.
