EZ way to lift/level an 05 250?

Hey guys- I just picked up an 05 f250 4x4 supercab, and compared to my f350's, it seems really low! I dont necessarilly want to do a full suspension lift, however Id like to pick up the truck a few inches. I usally level my trucks and Im pretty content with that, but this truck almost looks level all the way around, just low. Is there an easy and cost effective way to raise the truck? Can I use some sort of blocks in the rear and level the front to that height? Thanks for any help!

2wd or 4wd?

If 4wd just get a 2" spacer and f350 rear block. Anything above 2" starts to push the axle out to the side unless you get an adjustable trac bar.

It's 4wd. Any suggestions on blocks? I've found everything from aluminum to plastic! Also, what's an f350 block?

The factory rear block on a f350 is what I'm assuming he's referring too.

yep!

Make sure to get the correct block. I.e. If you have a long bed get a 350 long bed block, short bed = short bed f350 block. They have a slightly different angle to them to help correct pinion angle so you don't want to throw that out of whack.

Here's a pic of my 05 with just a 2" level and 35/1250/18 Trail grapplers. It technically sat level, but always looked like it squatted on slightly un even ground. If i had kept it i'd have gone with a 350 rear block.

Ok, great! Thank you. While were at it, is there any way I can make it sit even a little higher than that without any major mods? Im guessing that if I put in an f-350 rear block, and then level the front, it will sit the same as a leveled f-350. Is it possible to go an inch or so highr than that wothout changing shocks etc? Sorry to be a pain in the ***, just a bit under water when it comes to suspension. Thanks again!

The issue is the trac bar up front, it is not adjustable.

going to tall with out a new trac bar will cause your axle to shift to one side making it off centered. The other issue is, after a certain height your axle pulls back and un centers itself from the wheel well.

Why not just get a lift kit? a 3-4" kit isn't that expensive if you stick with a basic set up and should give you you're desired height.

Ok, I get it. If I go with an f350 rear block, and ideas of the size I should use to level the front to that?

Im thinking about going with a 4" rear block and a 2" front leveling kit. I really dont want to go with oem parts, and Im having trouble figuring out what size the oem f350 block is, but all things being equal, I believe its around 4". Any comments?
