Major upgrades

I have a 2007 f-150 king ranch super crew 4x4 and to me its all choked up with the factory setup. Its slow and hesitant. Im looking at putting the banks power pack system on it, along with a 6 in rough country lift with 33in mickey baja mtz radials. What are yalls opinion about this setup.

welcome to the forum!

those 33's are going to be way too small for that lift! you can fit 35's with just a leveling kit.

There is no fitting 35's with just a level. 33 will be perfect with a 6'' lift. Imo If the tire is in the wheel well even just the top of the tire sticking in the wheel well and taking up space then the tire is to big. So you need more lift or a smaller tire.

With your 6'' the top of the 33's will be just below the body so you will have empty wheel wells with no tire sticking in them. That is what your looking for. If you dont like it dont lift it. That only applies to lifted trucks. Im not saying you cant have tire in the wheel well but its not the right way to do it.

You could even do with stock tires with your 6'' lift. They may need to be wider tho. But same height as stock would do also. But you could always run the stock tires untill you get wider ones if you want. Or just keep the stock ones on there either way itll look good.

A side note i am not a fan of stuffing and i am a tool. So my opinion is just my preference.

I think the 33"s would be a better choice with that lift just for the simple fact she ain't easy on gas and the 35"s would drop my mpg to much. I've seen the setup and to me it's looks clean enough without excessive modification. Nobody said anything about the banks power system is anybody running this?

33s with a 6" lift doesn't look too bad, but I think it would look a whole lot better if you went with 33s on a 4" lift. As for the banks power pack system, IMO it is a waste of money for $2000. All it gives you is an exhaust, a tuner, and an intake, which you can buy seperately for less that $1000. You would get the same results, maybe even better, by getting custom tunes and a custom exhaust.

I like how the guy who barely crammed 44's under his truck is giving advice on not stuffing the wheel wells! haha

Yea if your gonna just run 33's either go with a 4" lift or just a level kit. And I wouldn't take anything lltoolj says too seriously.

Get a custom tuner and run 33s stock. Adding a lift and tires is going to slow you down too, maybe look at some 4.56s

Ok who makes the cleanest setup? I Ben looking at the rough country. They have a lifetime warranty which I want but I'm not to knowledgable on other setup ups.

I did a tiny bit of trimming on the plastic wind fairing thing that is attached to the bottom of the bumper. I cut about a 2 inch pizza slice off of it.

Also, keep in mind your wheel offset will play a factor in whether it rubs. I do still have a little bit of rubbing when I have the wheel fully turned but it's not an issue. I'm running 35" Goodyear MT and I believe my wheels have a +6 offset.

Why are you still here? i thought you got banned.

6" and 33's will look like crap. you can fit 33's un leveled on your truck now.

If you are worried about gas, don't lift it. You are going to want 35's after your 33's wear out any ways.

Don't put BANKS on your truck, get real modifications that aren't generic pos. Check out VMP tuning, Troyer tuning, or 5 star tuning. AFE makes a great intake for the 04-08 trucks, and exhaust check out MBRP or look with an open mind.
