Need help picking new shocks and struts!

So I have a 2005 F-150 SCREW 4WD with the 5.4L. I haul things and also pull two different boats with the truck. One boat is 1,000-1,500 lbs and the other is 3,500-4,000 lbs. I am not looking for high dollars off road, just something reasonably priced that will support my uses of the truck.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

I am loving my bilstein 5100's so far. From what I have heard the less expensive bilstein series are pretty good too.

Thanks Dewalt. Yes, I have been reading a lot about the Bilstein. I think the 5100 series is for lifted trucks and I don't have any lift on mine. Have looked at their HD series though. Just wondering what other options/recommendations there might be.

The ones I bought are for stock trucks but the front are adjustable for 0-2" so you can level out the front. The rears were not adjustable and were for 0-2" lift vehicles. My truck is stock height with the exception of the 2" from the fronts since I wanted to level out the truck a bit.

Ok, my misunderstanding. Sounds like a good choice then. I have kind of been interested in leveling the truck out but didn't want to buy a special kit. Thanks for the help. I will probably have to split up the purchases to accomadate the bank account.

One of the back shocks is getting sqeeky which is what made me think about this so I guess I will go with them first.
