Easiest way to find shock size is pull one off and measure compressed and extended lengths, go to bilsteins website and find one that matches up with specs.

I ordered mine from summit, cheapest place I found them. I got the ones for the 3-5" application iirc for the front, and the rears were for 4" of lift.

Ended going the cheaper route and going with procomp es9000's. Anythings gotta be better then the springtech shocks that were on there. 4 wheel parts had them buy 3 get 1 free do idecided to give rm a try.

How do you like the pro-comps so far? I'm looking to get a good shock for on and off road.

They seem to be a million times better on road than the springtech shocks i had on there for on road use... Im pretty impressed but the quality isn't there like a Bilstein in the way there constructed.

Ok. So I've pretty much decided that I want to go with the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable shocks up front, and the matching 5100's in the back, but I really don't want to spend $500 on the set. I've seen a few guys on some older posts talking about the best place to purchase, who to talk to at said place, and coupon codes. I've seen people plost that they were able to get the full set for around $300, but I have not been able to find them for under about $460. Can anyone help me out?

The ones people that got for 300 a set are probably for the years up to 04, in 04 since they changed to coilovers up front the cost of shocks for the 04 up trucks went up.

I had gone looking a few weeks ago and had found the set of 4 for just under $400 at a few places. I don't remember where but the post-it note is still sitting on my desk and I had wrote down $391 for all 4.

Either they raised their prices, or they're more expensive for my '08 than for your '09, because the set of 4 will cost me $447. I appreciate the advice though.

In case anyone else is wondering, the cheapest price I found was $427 for all 4 with a coupon code (which was posted right on their front page) at www.sdtrucksprings.com
