3" body or 6" sus first

my 04 fx4 is leveled, but I still plan on fabtec 6" and a 3" body lift. Is one easyer than the other to start with. will starting with the body lift help to have more room to work on installing the fabtec? I will greatly apreaciate any insight from anyone thats done this before. Any and all sugestions welcome since I'm at this stuff and plan on trying to do the work myself with the help of my mecanic friend.

Do body lift first, more room to work when doing the suspension and your jack won't need to go as high for the body lift either.

Thankyou I was thinking the bl first as the room would have helped for my headders( every 1/4" was hard fought for on psgr side). thanks

Newbie here. Whats the highest leveling lift I can install without and further mods? 3" front, 1" rear?

Stay under 2.5" max in the front on leveling kits, in the back you can go whatever height you want. Read the sticky at the top of the suspension section.

Yup, a body lift makes the header job alot easier. That #4 coil is a breeze now,too

There's lots of options for the rear like blocks, springs, and shackles for the springs.
Front don't go past 2.5" , I stayed with the 2" beacause you can fit the same size tires and it puts less stress on ball joints and other parts
