Power steering problem...

I have a 92' 4wd 5.0 extended cab with a problem steering to the right. It's like the power steering is gone but it works perfectly going left. Really irritating having to plan my trips to and from work and other places with as few right turns as possible. Turning this beast without power is tough and I have pulled a muscle or two. any thoughts would be great. I'm thinking it's somewhere in the area of the steering gear box.

Well anyone I ask pretty much tells me that something has broke in my steering gear box, and that I should replace it or get the old on re-built. Auto Zone for around $140, so that may be my next route.
