Leveling kit

The rough country 2.5 leveling kit says it'll fit the 2004 and up f150s and hell bent steel says it is either 04-08 or 09-up. Will the 3 inch hell bent steel kit for the 04-08 fit on a 2010?

Im not 100% but i would think so. My brother has a 2010 and the suspension seems to have not changed compared to my 2006. Is the hell bent just front keys?

Its a spacer, what confuses me is the rough country kit is advertised for 04-12 but everyone else seems to do a break down as 04-08 and 09-12. Here's the link for hell bent.

04+ trucks do not have keys.

3" spacer will cause pre-mature wear. Stick with 2.5" max.

Imo, anything more then 2" on a 2010 will cause a nose high look.

I agree. I have 2" autospring in the front of my 2012 and AAL in the rear. If I did not put AAL in the rear then the truck would have just been barely level. With the AAL in the rear, it added back, close to factory rake. So it would be close to level with a 2.5 front and AAL rear.
Some people install lift blocks in the rear between the axle and leafs, but if you are hard on your truck they cause excessive axle wind up which is not good. AAL is the best way to go by far in the rear for those that tow and do work with their truck.
I also agree from experience, that the 3" front causes premature suspension wear. 2.5 should be max in the front. Also, anymore than 2-2.5 in the front of a 04+ can cause the upper control to rub pretty good on the strut coil spring over decent bumps or suspension travel. Hope I helped a little.

Cheers!
