3" Rancho Lift Kits

This is in regards to my previous message. I' m thinking about having a 3" sus. lift put on my '92 F150 4x4. The shop I is quoting me $1760 for parts and labor, using a Rancho Lift kit. Anybody have any experiences or opinions onthis type of kit or the cost? I want to mount 33s on the existing rims.

Thanks,
Marc

I can tell you that the Rancho kit comes with better parts than most of the others. For instance, the Trailmaster Lift does not come with spindles it comes with ball joint spacers, which in turn can effect the life of the ball joints in the front end. The only part of the Rancho I don't like is the block spacers for the rear, I have always been partial to Add-a-Leaf type lifts or having a spring shop make me a set of springs.

92' f150 doesnt need new spindles with there lifts, only good with 97-2001 f150s. the rancho lift are pretty good but i suggest u get their 4" kit instead( truck looks more level). u can get either a add a leaf or blocks. the add al eaf make the ride a bit stiffer and the blocks retains the stock ride. the cost is about right.
