New guy havin problems with body lift

Hey y'all I'm Jeff from Michigan I'm 19 and am in the National Guard and I have a 99 flareside that I have a 3in body lift for. I was able to get the front cab mounts off but couldn't get the rear cab mounts. The bushings are in a crossmember and just spin when I take the impact to em there's not enough room to get a pipe wrench in there to keep them from spinning. I'm stuck and out of ideas to get these things off anybody have any ideas?

Hi Jeff. Welcome to this forum!
Please post this question in the Suspension forum. Odds of getting help with this are much better there.

you cant just get a regular wrench in there to keep them from spinning?

no. theres not a nut. the bushing itself is the threaded part to theres no nut to put a wrench on.

ok, i just went and checked and im pretty sure i used a big pair of channel locks to keep the bushing from spinning with someone in cab turning the bolt.

I did the same thing. Just get a buddy to hold them while your wrench it out.

i tryed wedging it with a peace of wood but it just shreded the bushing. and the other one it above the gas tank. i really dont want to remove the gas tank. Ill try the channel locks. its just such a small space to get something in there to hold it.

Here's some advice, DON'T INSTALL THE TORSION KEYS!!! Just crank up your stock ones.

I also used a large pair of channel lock pliars to hold the bushing/nuts when I installed the body lift on my last truck.

Why read it when you can start a thread (not referring to the OP) asking the question, waiting 30 minutes + to get a reply, only then to get the same exact answer you could have gotten w/ in 30 seconds of reading?
