Smile Squanto..and anyone else who wants to look

Just want to say thank you. A while back you gave me some info on your Kodiak steps. I installed mine this past weekend. You can see some pics of them at http://www.geocities.com/y2kboti/modifications.html

Thumbs up

Your welcome!
Looks great....How do you like them so far? Any problems in the installation?

By the way, great looking truck! Even if it is a chevy!

Cool

Just had to say those pics of your z71 makes me miss my chevy. Ok, that's over, time to go back to work on the F150. That is one nice looking truck though.

Whoa, phat chevy!!! I have a quick question, why are you a chevy owner on a ford website? Im totally ubiased between the two. Both great trucks. But it just seems alittle... weird.

I have been asked that question a hundred times Paco...and no its not jealously (thats usually what people think it is) The reason I post on this forum is because of my knowledge w/ IFS lifts.

Squanto I love the steps. Alot easier for my g/f to get in now. Don't have to grab her by the @ss As for the install it was a B1TCH! Took almost 8 hours by the time everything was said and done. I know thats alot of time but let me explain.

First off I had to buy extra hardware because they did not supply enough. Second the directions that were included made absolutely no sense so I tossed them. Third because of all the fuel and brake lines on the driverside I had to modify and trim some of the brackets. And last, the passanger side step wiring was messed up at the factory. When I opened the door the step went up So I had to open the motor cover and play around w/ the wiring.

So now that I've said that you have a better idea of what I had to go thru. But still better than spending $250-325 to have them installed.
