Need shock information

I drive an 06 supercrew xlt with the 5.4 and I'm just starting to upgrade it. I'm waiting on my 2" autospring leveling kit and was wondering if I should buy shocks to upgrade/replace my stock ones and if so, which ones should I get. Any help or advice would be most appreciated. This is also my first post on this forum.

That wouldnt be a bad time to replace your shocks either. I just bought some Skyjacker H7041D's. About 60 bucks for 2 of them, (they were scratch and dent), and didnt look to have anything wrong with them.

If you go to their website you can search for shocks for your truck.

Kill two birds with one stone. Buy a complete set of Bilstien or Rancho shocks that feature adjustable preload up front. You get new upgraded shocks and can lift the front 2 inches. Since you have an 06, odds are your shocks are pretty worn so this would be a great idea for you.
