Question about lift and tires just ordered
theres a couple more factors involved including backspacing and width of the 37" tire you wish to run, but for the most part i would say your going to need at least a 2" level to be able to clear those. and even then you may need to do some trimming.
otherwise the guys who run 37's typically have an 8" lift kit. give it a little bit longer. youll get more answers from guys who have known these trucks for many years. they will steer you in the right direction.

I know the backspacing on the set i was looking at is 5.47 and the offset is 12 the tires are bfg mud terrains and the width is 12.5
I guess I'll be stacking a leveling kit then
would that work?
would that work?

well in that case I'm probably going to have to downgrade to 35s
also I've found a set of 36" and 35" of the same rim and tire just in the smaller size would the 36" fit or should I just play it say and stick with 35?
and I don't think I need to regear with the smaller tires either

Regearing is optional. It's never required but it's a nice choice if you have the extra money due to the loss of power you'll feel. And yes you'll feel it even with 35s. And yes you should be fine with 36's but it all depends on wheel choice.
