Replacing shocks

I just received a set for $469. from shox.com which is the cheapest I have seen for Bilstein 5100's in stock. That's about $5 less than shockwarehouse with the 5% discount. I am removing the Auto Spring and having these shocks put in this week.

I had the 5100's on my F150 and they are pretty stiff ride but still very nice. I had to lower my tire PSI to make the ride to my liking.

I had a set of the Rancho quick lift with the 9000's on the rear installed this past weekend and the ride is very nice, I have them set on 3 front and back. I did not measure the actual lift but it looks great. I bought them from truck customizers for $502.00 plus rancho has a $100.00 rebate. I also was debating between the bilstein and rancho and there is a lot of banter back and forth between the two, the deciding factor for me was a lot of comments about how stiff the bilsteins are. In my opinion they are both good shocks, it's just a matter of what you are looking for in the ride, they both have a lifetime warranty. With the help of a mechanic with the proper tools we had the fronts installed in less than an hour.
