lift blocks

I am in the process of putting 2 inch lift blocks on 99 scab. Do I need to get longer rear shocks. I've heard I do and heard i dont. Any help is appreciated.

The factory ones should be fine but depending on how many miles are on them it might be a good time to replace them.

I'm pretty sure 2" is the highest you can go without getting longer shocks because a lot of rear shocks for sale say "0-2" of rear lift". If the ones you have now are old and need replacing, then you might as well get a little longer shocks but I don't think they're absolutely necessary
