Leveling an 05 reg cab.

Leveling an 05 reg cab.

I have an 05 Reg cab with a 2.5 HBS leveling kit, w/ 315/70r17s on it. It is .5-.7 inches lower in the front. I believe that the 05s had a higher rear in the back due to an extra leaf. Is there any way to make it level. i.e a new leveling kit, or removal of a leaf. Any suggestions on experience of leveled reg cabs in that year.

you could put a 1/2" smaller block in the back. I think yours has a 2" stock block, but I could be wrong. My 2006 4x4 had a stock 2" block

Has anybody else tried switching out the rear blocks? And also if you are a leveled 04-05, what leveling kit did u use?

I got a 05...we got 1 more leaf in the back.

I used a 3 inch hbs to get mine level.....wanna buy it ?

I know this is a couple of months old, but i was wondering if I could just put a 0-3" coilover in the front to achieve the level i needed or would i still need to reduce the rear block? Any tips on which coilover I should look at? I like the icons, and I have seen the fabtechs and fox's.

I wouldn't do anything up front if I were you. I'd get a 1.5" rear block and replace the one you have. That will keep your angles up front from increasing and leveling your truck like you want it.

I just measured the block in the back and its only 1". So I'm guessing that I could take out a leaf from the rear and maybe that would do it. and Go Gators!

Yea that would probably work. To bad you cant get a .5" block lol. I'd hate to sacrifice payload capacity.
