2010 shocks on 2007

I have a 2007 F150 SC 2x4 with 2inch AS front leveling block and 1.5 AS rear blocks. My question is will my friends stock 2010 F150 SC 4x4 shocks fit my truck if I remove the front block? Just looking to save so money. I figured that the rear would be the same height and if I removed the front block that the 4x4 shocks would be about the same height as my leveling kit.

His shocks are basically brand new b/c of a 6 inch lift added within 2 months of buying the truck.

Also, if only changing the shocks, do I need a new front wheel alignment?

Measure them, they should fit, I think, but I'm not 100%. Many places will check your alignment for free. I would at least do this.

You'll most likely need an alignment, changing anything in the front end is usually enough to throw it off where it'll cause tire wear issues.
