Post FX4 lift help

I was looking for a more unique look for my 2008 F-150 FX4 by getting some bigger tires put on some custom wheels. I am looking to get 35" tires and know that I need at least 2.5" of lift in the front end. I was wondering what my best bet would be as far as a lift in order to get a good tire look and fitment while still keeping a rake in my suspension. A strong lift kit under 4" that will be easy on my front end and not sacrifice ride quality is what I'm looking for. I was first considering a leveling kit until I was turned away from that by all the people saying how much it can wear on your front end components. With all that said, feel free to leave suggestions and pictures. Thanks!

there is no lift kit under 4" so your only choice is a level of some sort. everything you need to decide what you want are in those two links.

So it looks like my best bet would be to get the leveling kit then get a block for the rear in order to keep the rake? What is your opinion on leveling kits, as far as premature wear on the front end?

How To:
Write-up: Auto Spring 2.5" Leveling Kit Install
Provided by txst8tj

2" & 2 1/2" leveling kit:
2x4= up to 33" tires on oem rims
4x4= up to 35" tires on oem rims

3" leveling kit:
puts to much stress on front suspension. cause parts to wear prematurely, not recommended.

3 Ways to level your truck:
-spacer (autospring is a popular brand at a good price)
-adjustable struts (bilstein 5100's and rancho's quick lift)
-coilover

General rule of thumb:
04-05 use a 2.5" leveling kit to get level
06-2011 use a 2" to get level
