Stage I usually uses existing shocks and blocks to achieve heights...Stage II will have Coilovers that can be adjusted up or down, no blocks....Thats Procomp lifts. not sure on others. Buy MHOCKEYS truck..hes got like 15" of lift haha

If you have the funds get the coilovers our shocks instead of the blocks in the front. Or go straight for the 8" BDS or RiZE.

Money funding is something that really needs to be established first. are you installing it or paying? Rancho makes a 4" as well. Some brands will run sales and that could be a determining factor among brands too......... 1500 to 2500ish for 6" lifts plus around 800+or- labor.....wheels/tires 2000ish there are lots of things on here for sale as well. might check classifieds and do some research. Theres a lot of good info on this site, thats how i built my blue truck in my gallery as well as the older two pictured

12inch Rize + 3inch Body Lift + 2inch Leveling Kit

12inch Rize is the best quality lift out there i beleive for our IFS trucks. Plus those are 37s on the truck right now

Wow that's huge. What size tires are you going to put on it? How big of tires can IFS handle?

Depends on what you plan to do with the truck what size tires it'll handle.

why not go with a 8" kit. By the time you pay for the suspension installed + a body lift + install for body lift you are looking at ALOT of money.

a rize 8" you can bump to 10" and still come out about the same and not have a body lift.

or just run a 6" lift and bump it to 8".

You can run 37s on 8" of lift and 38's on 9-10" of lift.

as far as how large of a tire you can run on an IFS truck, personally i wouldn't run over a 37" tire assuming you wheel hard. If you don't ever use 4wd you can get away with bigger.

Also about the money issue...most states have lame laws with lift kits (esp Illinois) and if you come across a cop having a bad day be ready for a ticket.

And either
A- Have money to get the lift undone to get your vehicle approved
B- Have someone who owns a shop and can get you approved

Although thats an extremely rare case but its possible. I think most cops think lifted trucks are cool anyways lol...I always get looks and waves

That being said Im at the legal bumper limit now and plan on going over by hopefully 6-8 more inches before its said and done :P

and the "biggest" you can get is what ever you get custom made lol...Ive seen a few with 24 inches of lift...after you get too high though IMO it starts to look tacky

I wouldn't do 6" suspension and 3" body. like 06yz250f said, either get 8" Rize or BDS or get a 6" and put a level kit and AAL on it to get 8" total. I'm not a fan of body lifts and in your case it will probably be cheaper to not get a body lift
