Are you saying that you paid $100 for just the installation? The RC lift is $1399.

These shops must be hurting for work that are doing installs for the prices that some of you are paying. Within a 50 mile radius of me the shops are charging $800 with an alignment.

The shop's price for it was $1500. Different shops had different prices for it, and some had a better value for the installation and alignment, as well as their quality.

I paid 1900 out the door for my rancho and 9000xl shocks. They had a 500 dollar rebate which dropped the price I had in it to 1400. Then I sold my Bilstein shocks I had on that I got for christmas for another 300, dropping the price to 1100. Then I parted out my stock parts for 400 total, resulting in having 700 dollars in a brand new Rancho 4" lift with 4 adjustable 9000xl shocks. Was a hell of a deal. I installed the lift myself.

I've told my story several times already but a few years ago, I bought my Rancho new and uninstalled off of Craigslist for ~$700 including 9000xl shocks and steel braided brake hoses. I sold my Bilstein 5100's for $300 and my OEM coilovers for $100. I also made some money from the FX4 skidplate. I did buy a 5" block and for about $100 and 1" Daystar spacer for $45. BTW I bought my Diamo rims from the Classifieds here and sold my old Helo Maxxs with worn 33" tires to a local guy. The point is there are deals out there if you're patient and resourceful such as selling off your existing parts or even horsetrading some. Doing the install myself with the help of a good wrenching buddy saved the most money though, so I recommend you start sourcing out some good help.

Good luck man!

That's the point I was trying to put out there as well. If your patient you can save money.
