seems like everywhere i look to buy a leveling kit it says "will NOT fit FX4"
buddy has a 3"-2.5" leveling kit on his 05 XLT. not sure why it wouldnt fit an FX4

any insight on this?

also thinking might as well get new shock/struts with kit, advice?

 

have a 2.5" HBS leveling kit on my '04 FX4. Love it, looks great, ride quality maintained. pics in album

 

First I've ever heard of that. If you want new shocks, you might as well go ahead and buy the Bilstiens. THey feature adjustable ride height.
