Arrow Notice for Fabtech Dirt Logic Coilover Owners

I have a 2006 F150 4x4 so this applies to the 2004-2008 4x4 f150s. I put a 6" Fabtech lift with Dirt Logic front coilovers on it in August of 2011. After about 2,000 miles I started getting a clunking in the front end whenever I hit a bump or hole in the road going about 25mph or above. I looked at the spring on one of the coilovers, and it was slightly bowed and it had scooted over a little so it wasn't centered around the body of the shock. The combination of being bowed and not centered was making it the spring hit the shock whenever it compressed. I sent the whole coilover back to Fabtech and they put a new spring on it for free. After putting it back on my truck, it started doing the same thing almost immediately. This time it clunked on bumps and scraped up and down the body of the shock as it compressed up and down at slow speeds. It was louder this time than it was originally. I called Fabtech and told them, so they sent me 2 brand new coilovers. I swapped them out and they both started clunking almost immediately, and the springs on the new ones looked just like the spring I had replaced (bowed and not centered). So I called them again, and they said there must be some design flaw in all the coilovers. I just got a call today, and he said they had to redesign the springs. He said these had been tested and they should work fine, and all their coilovers for the 2004-2008 F150s built in the future will have the new springs that they are sending me. So if you have any weird noises coming from your front end, check the springs on the coilovers. If that's what it is, call Fabtech and they will help you out. They were very helpful with me. It just took a long time because they had to figure out the problem and make new springs. I'm getting 2 new coilovers with the new springs for free. I should have them next week sometime, so I can report on whether the problem is solved or not

They didn't say anything about sending them back. They work fine and they only have about 1000 miles on them. They just make a little annoying noise. Would you really want to buy them if I don't have to send them back?
