Question Best lowering kit

I have a 2005 F150 supercab and have been thinking about lowering it already have drop shackles on it but wanting to be lower. I have 20 inch rousch wheels with 305/50/20 tires on them. So what kit should i look at with that tire combo and what brand kit? thanks

305/50/20 is a 32 inch tall tire. to go 4 inches lower or more you will need to drop to a 265/50/20 at least. Belltech, DGM are a couple of places to start. Total Suspention Source, anything auto, Summit. check them out.

Belltech is the best for Ford trucks. Then again I am alittle bias

You can using the Belltech Lowering Strut in the front to save some cash over spindles. Rides like factory. Can achieve 3" of drop.

3/5 is the most popular kit for the 04-08 models. The rear would be a 5" flip kit. $560 for Belltech front struts, flip kit and rear shocks.

I recently installed belltech Nitro drop shocks on my truck and as of right now am not impressed. My Old KYB's were far superior than these. I have heard good things about the street performance series but haven't tried them myself. Like I said before.... the tires you have now are way to tall and you will need to go down to a 265/50/20 at least. My belltech coils seem to be soft too but I could be wrong because of the shock being soft. either way you go I'm sure will be fine... If your anything like me and like to road race in the hills once in a while The set up I have now feels softer than what I had 2" taller. When the suspension is too soft it almost feels like bump streer rather than firmly planted on the turns. Staight aways are comfortable but I prefer a firm feel the road in your *** while driving feel. How else can you tell what your truck is doing?? steering wheel and ***...Buuuuttttt I could be wrong. LOL

Do you have the old Nitro Drops? They are an old shock design that Belltech does not use anymore.

Those shocks are good for the money. They are a lot softer than the newer Belltech shocks.

If you want I can give you a really good discount on Street Performance so you can get a better ride.
