Swapping springs?

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a truck, and I've been doing a bunch of research. I was just wondering, can I put 94-97 front springs from an F250 on a 94-96 F150? I can't tell if that year range F250's are leaf sprung all around or if they're like the F150's with leaves in the back and coils up front. If they are coiled up front, do you know if it would add any lift to the front? Any input would be great!! Thanks in advance!!!

If I remember right it'll net you like 1-2" of lift.

I'm not sure if you can do that. But, I think you would be better off using a set of aftermarket lift coils or a set of Daystar coilspring spacers (if the OEM coils are in good shape).

As wandell said, I would go with aftermarket lift coils. The spring rate for an F-250 is much more than for an F-150. The front end will be very rough with suspension components out of a 3/4 ton truck.

I might just end up going with an F250 from the start. If I don't though, I'd go with some aftermarket coils.
