Question Chattering / popping in front?

Well, it's not my truck, but a buddies (ahem...) ft. wheel drive Avenger. It's not the CV joints because it doens't pop while turning or anything, and the lower linear ball joints (I think) were just replaced by Dodge. It sounds like a cupped end or something bouncing up and down on a dry ball. (Sorry, I don't know much about suspensions.) It does it while coasting over a rough street. Any ideas? We lifted one side, and everything seems tight and normal, at least with me just using my hands. Thanks for any help guys!!!

Chattering

My truck is doing the exact same thing. Its been in 2 different dealerships and they can't figure out what the problem is. At the shop we checked all the suspension parts and everything checked out okay. Ford basically gave up and said they couldn't fix it. If ANYONE has ANY ideas please let us know...My truck sounds like its falling apart....

Can you give more detail on the noise? We found a fix for the Jingleing noise, souds like a loose washer bouncing on a bolt, is that it?
