[QUOTE=russ10screw;4731640]How do you like the level compared to the stock ride? Are you happy with it? Would you do it again?

I think it looks great. It took a little getting used to on the parking aspect. With the front end up a little you can't see as much right in front of the truck. It rides about the same to me. From what I've heard a lot of the people that have done the shocks have actually had improved ride quality. I'm definitely happy with it and would do it again. However, if you've got the money to do the shocks, I'd do those instead. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I chose not to go that route simply because of the difference in price.

Thanks for the insight. Still haven't decided exactly what I want to do yet. Have to see what Santa is willing to spend. Thanks!

You could look at ReadyLift leveling kits, thats what I have and havent had any troubles, but my truck is a 2007 FX4, but I seen them on a lot of trucks.

Thanks. I'll check them out. Are those of the spacer variety or a shock style?

I know I know, it's very expensive for a leveling kit but if that's all I ever planned on doing for the suspension, meaning no full suspension lift. This is what I would go with...

This will ride alot better than any strut spacer or anything like that. Set it at 2.5" a let it ride.

Holy smokes! That looks awesome but at that price I'd definitely look at a 4" Rancho. But that looks pretty sweet. Wish money wasn't an issue. I'm just trying to figure out which way to go. Roughly $200 for a level kit that I install and an alignment or roughly $500-$550 for the Bilsteins that I install the rear and they install the fronts with an alignment.

Hey, Russ, I am in the same boat as you (same truck for that matter, lol). When I priced the Bilstien install out here where I live, IIRC, it was pretty expensive (with an alignmet being another $50 - $75 depending on where I went). Also, keep in mind, if you set the Bilsteins to a setting you don't like, you have to pay to have them adjusted (if you can't do it yourself). One thing I learned for though...I will never go to 4wheelparts. They are SO expensive out here it's just silly.

If cost wasn't a issue, I would got 4" Rancho Lift. Seeing as that it is an issue, I will probably be going with the Autospring Leveling kit.
