Rear leaf spring question

I got a 06 f150 and its got a 2.5 inch leveling kit and the rear end sags just a lil. Is the 1.5" rear AAL going to lift the rear too much or will it be perfect?

looking at this one:

4x2 or 4x4, if its 4x2 it should come out closer to level, i believe because of diffference in rear block height. if you want it perfectly level i would measure the diference on flat ground thats the what i did with my truck then just added a bigger block on my 2010

the 4x2's do not have a block in the back. I doubt a 1.5" leaf will make it level, but it should be very close after the front and back settle.

A 1.5" aal is gonna give it some rake back, probably about an inch if I had to guess.

Try overload shocks in the rear. They're shocks with a variable-rate coil spring over them. Incredibly simple and very effective. Monroe makes a good set, and you can get them at NAPA or other places that sell Monroe shocks.

Don't know where in NC you are, but if you're close to Virginia Beach, I have a pair sitting in my garage for 04-08 F150 2WD.

adding another leaf will make the rider stiffer. A block will not.

I'm not interested in height, I'm interested in a softer ride. My '05 FX4 is about to kill me. Should I take out some springs?

If you're trying to get a softer ride and haven't modified your suspension, you would be a good candidate for Firestone's R4Tech suspension system. It's not cheap, but it gives you a softer ride when there's no load and automatically adds support when you're hauling or towing.

is this to much rake for you? I have the daystar 1" budget boost (which is almost the same height spacers as the 1.5" autosprings kits) and i just installed the readylift 3" rear block kit. my truck is an 08'

i figured with your front end being higher you still might have some rake in the back with the blocks.
