i have a death wobble someone help
i have a 90 f150 4x4 and i have a death wobble has brand new hubs brand new ball joints brand new wheel bearings and brand new radius arm bushings what else could be causing this... lifted 8 inches with 36 inch super swamper tsls
try throwing a steering stabilizer on there. i had a jeep with super swampers and it had a terrible death wobble. the steering stabilzer dampened it out but not all off it. do you have leaf springs in the front or 3 or 4 link.
Steering Stab is a must if ya dont all ready have it...with 36's I would look at a dual set up.
Do you have a drop pitman arm or stock? I will see if I have some of my info I had on steering geometry on Fords....If it aint right it causes alot of issues.

I'm thinking with the lift you have the caster has been pushed closer to "0" and with all the new parts it needs a good alignment.
As mentioned a steering stabilizer is good idea with your tire size, but it is a band aid, not a fix. The stabilizer will take some stress off the steering system caused by the big tires.
The info you need is all the way at the bottom of that link.

yeah i wanna get the stabilizer after i get the real problem fixed..it all started after i hit some little bumps on the road and its never been the same i replaced two tires thinking it was the front tires but i guess i can try getting the front end aligned and then ill let you guys know... and my driver side wheel has positive camber you think that would my it have death wobble
If you are running 8" of lift with stock length radius arms, you are basically rolling the front end under the truck. It's like trying to run down hill on your tip toes, any little thing will throw it off.
With that much lift you need to have the radius arm mounts on the frame either lower or moved way back with longer arms. That would get you back to a normal caster.
At 8" you are pushing the limits of the TTB front end.

its all good i appreciate the help though and yeah the ones on the front came on the truck but when i had two new ones put on rims the guy couldnt get those balanced so i put em on the back and the older ones where still balanced.. i put 35 bf goodrichs on there and it did it once but then didnt do it anymore so..
Ask for the beads or go to a shop that handles bigger tires like a good 18wheeler shop and get them trued and balanced if there is a massive amount of weight needed to balance them. I have learned to like the beads in bigger tires...they make a huge difference.
