Bilstein 5100s Like 'em?

Im debating about purchasing the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks for my '05 FX4. I want to keep the stock 18"s and put on oversize tires. Does anyone have these shocks and like them? Are they worth it, and if so, does anyone have oversize tires on their stock 18"s with pics?
Thanks!

I know you are looking at the 5100's, but I have Rancho's Quicklifts, with 9000XL's all round, and I love it. The ride is nice and smooth...

Here a a few pics...

I have slightly over-sized tires, 275/70R18. Will probably be going to a 275/65/20 soon. But I have seen guys on here run 35's on the stock 18"s.

I love them! Had them on my 05 and now 09. They are a nice firmer upgrade over stock and handle great

Looks nice! Do you know if the 35"s would rub? I was thinking of doing BFGs 33" all around.

I got 'em. I think they're just a touch to firm, but I'd rather have that then too soft.

I just recently put mine on and the difference offroad is amazing! Way better than stock. I run an 18" wheel with 33's. I have them set for 2" lift in the front and removed my old spacer. Definitely worth the investment if you offroad at all.

^^ this.

having driven his 05 and my 07 with same specs at the time besides shocks, his drove 10x better offroad (never drove it on road that i can remember)

have 5150's and 5125's on my landcruiser, amazing ride for a 36 year old vehicle on leaf springs.

Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it! I think I'm going to get them and probably go with the BFG 33"s on the stock 18" wheels for now. As the money situation improves may upgrade the wheels. Can't wait to see how the ride improves off-road.

I don't think 35's will rub.. I think a guy on here has 305/55/20 Nitto Trail Grap's on his. I believe it is Uin2it has them on his truck with no rubbing.

I have 33's now with no rubbing. And my angles are way better than a buddy of mine who just has a 2" AS level...
