Cool Shocks

I just purchased a set of 4 Monroe Gas-Matic LT shocks for my '97 4x4. I was going to get some Edelbrocks but I really could'nt justify to myself paying so much for them. I've had good experiences w/ Monroes in the past. I got the set for $89 at Advance Auto. Has anyone ever had these particular shocks? Opinions? I rarely go off road so maximum off road performance was'nt a big consideration. I'm looking more for a decent ride and handling. Thanks as always....

No experience with them, but I would like to hear how they work out for you. I just ordered a set of Bilsteins, but if the Monroe's work ok, I can buy 2 1/2 sets for the same price! Best of luck with them!
