Leveling kit problems, Help

when i got this truck it appears to have a level on it but it only seems like a 2" level and the truck doesn't sit level so i bought a HBS 2.5" level and i tried swapping them out and i ran into a problem. from what i see it looks like a readylift T6 billet level by the design of it. and that level has studs that you screw in instead of already being pressed in like the HBS. well i tried loosening the 3 bolts on top of the strut tower and the whole studs started spinning with the nut making it impossible to loosen the bolts. the only way i can think of getting the strut assembly off is by cutting those top 3 studs. will i be ok doing this?

stud moving with the nut

kind of looks like this but i'm not sure, could be another type of level

I would try a small dye grinder and a chissel on the nuts. Your not going to hurt anything in this area with a grinder and chissel, but I would blck the sparks from the motor and painted areas. Also I would remove the inner fenders this would give you better access and its easy to remove them.

those shouldn't matter if you cut them off, once you do that you should be able to drop it all out and remove the kit.

2.5" kit should look good on your truck, you've been making good progress since the beach trip.

edit: another idea, try using a nut breaker. not sure if it'll work on it but be easier than cutting and trying not to screw stuff up.

You tried hitting it with an impact to see if that'd bust it loose?

i didn't have an impact so i used a socket and it spun. then i made the dumb mistake of holding the top of the threads with vise grips and using a wrench and it works but now my threads are messed up so my only choice now is to cut them lol
