Front Bilstien HD shocks

Front Bilstien HD shocks
Do the front Bilstien HD shocks for an 04 and up come with the plate that the spring sits on? If not how do you get the old plate off the old shock or do you have to buy a new one? I am having a devil of a time with these front shocks!!!!!

Scratch that question!!
I went back and reread the instructions and you have to reuse the spring plate. My love taps were not quite enough so out came the BFH and a few good hits and want do ya know they came right off. I got one back together and I need to get a dust shield for the other side that I messed up. Ya live and ya learn, I don't understand why people don't like to wrench on there on vehicles. I love getting into a jam then working my way through it.
