2" or 2.5" level?

I have an 07 fx4, and I am wanting to clear 285/65/20 Tires. I need to level my truck to do so, but need help deciding what size kit. I know a 2.5" will work, but will this make me sit nose high? Is it possible to clear 285/65/20 BFG ATs (34.7x11.5) on stock wheels with just a 2" level?

with an FX4 a 2.5" level will level out the truck perfectly. my truck has a 2" level and it still has a little bit of rake

You would probably have to do some trimming with only 2". I would go 2.5", it will level it about perfect

UofAF150 can you post pictures when you are done. I have an FX4 07' and I am thinking of going with a similar set up to fit 35" tires. Level (2.5" OR lift - 4 - 6"). All the best!

for a 04-05 you need 2.5" to level, 06-08 is a 2" to be level.

they switched leaf packs in 06 making the truck sit a hair lower in the rear.
