Torsion Bar Help

I'm Cranking my torsion bars tomorrow, i only wanna get 1 1/2" to 2" approximently how many turns is that, and i'm guessing its righty tighty to make it higher? and will definitely need an alignment if i only go up a small amount

1 1/2" - 2" is all you're gonna get anyways. My personal technique is to crank both sides full to the stops...til the bolt bottoms out and wont turn any further. Odds are, one side will be higher than the other. Lower that higher side to make level with the other, or lower both to a desired heigth if they went to far.

An alignment is a great idea, but not an ultimatum. If you can't get it done right away it's not going to drive funny or eat up your tires in a 100 miles...you'll be fine.
