2011 FX4 rear block removal questions

Hello everyone, I just picked up a 11 f150 screw and would like to level the truck by removing the rear lift blocks but have a few questions. First, what all do I need to get to do the process, just new U-bolts?. Will I need an alignment after I take the blocks out? Only reason I want to go this path instead of raising the front end is because this is a daily driver and dont want bigger tires, im fine with the stock tires just would like it level. Thanks for any info on this.

From my experience, it shouldn't require any alignment. Go for it!

Should be straight forward swap with no alignment needed

I'm only familiar with the 2WD configuration, but would just removing the blocks effectively change the pinion angle of the driveshaft (causing vibration or premature wear)? Or does this not apply to 4x4 drivetrains?

Also, how much is payload reduced by removing the blocks?

I lowered the rear of my 2010 4X4 Screw with 2" lowering shackles and had a vibration. I took them out and have the stinkbug look again. I will try again later with some pinion shims next time.

2011 Lariat 4x4 - Wondering if anyone has done this successfully and what were the final results? I looked at the blocks on mine and it appears they are drilled and tapped for a bracket that supports the brake line on each side. Did you support them another way?

I'm trying to do this same thing on my 2008 limited, but the dealer is being a **** about helping me find the correct U-bolts. Does anyone have part numbers for the correct U-bolts? Something about him not being able to find parts without a vin number...
