Suspension help gurus

Ive been trying to sell my stock components from my 2010 fx4 after i installed my lift kit. A kid asked me if they would fit a 2004 4wd. I figured it would, but i know that sometimes they change a few things. Shocks should work im thinking, but not for sure.. skid plates??... knuckles???

I am not sure, may want to see if you can find an online site that sells aftermarket replacements of those parts and see if what they list the year model range as. Or if it ask you to drill down (year/make/model) see if the two truck produce the same part number. Sorry I could not help more.

Most all lifts are made for 2004-2008 or for 2009-up. Shocks might fit, but I doubt steering knuckles and skid plates would

i'd say no, i know for sure lower control arms are different, so that'd make me believe the rest might be changed slightly as well.

i'd just say you aren't sure, it's his job to know if they will work. i'm assuming you aren't asking much so he needs to figure if it's worth the risk.
