Can really use your knowledge.
Hope all is well. I've been going back and forth for a while now, whether or not to lift the front of my truck 2" or lower the back 2". After pondering on it, I think I want to get the 2" lift in the front. I know I will catch some hell for wanting to raise the front of a 2wd truck, but it's what I like I guess, ha.
My question(s) are, 1) what do you think is the best kit? 2) Is 2" to much or not enough? 3) What would be a good looking tire?
I'm thinking of keeping my 18" factory chrome rims. I think it might look alright. Any and all help is very much appreciated. Thanks again in advance.

First of all, don't worry about your truck being a 2wd I'm about to lift and put mud tires on my FX2 . But, 1) I have a Readylift 2" lift on my front. Its pretty good. You just want something that fits on the top of the strut. Those are the best for your truck. Even though a lot of people on here have leveling kits that fit at the bottom... 2) 2 inches of lift should make your truck sit level. But you might ask guys at a local shop just make sure. 3) I'm a big advocate for General Tires. The AT2 is a pretty sweet tire. In a close second would be Nitto tires... Pretty much any tires made by both of those companies are my personal favorites. Good luck with future mods!

Its all on what you want, if you lift it your going to want bigger tires to fill up the wheel well which are more expensive and going to hurt your mpg's. If you lower you can do more of a sport truck thing and get some street tires thatll also be cheaper than offroad tires. theres a bunch on ebay for less than a leveling kit will be. as far as 2" not being enough all suspensions are diff, measure and see what you need, theres pleanty of options out there.
