Spindles? I don't think you have a 6" spindle. And I know for a fact no one makes a 8" one. I think you mean spacer since your truck is an 05. And no most people do not want a 8" spacer so I don't think they make one, it's not good for the angles and what not.

He's telling you that the spindle doesn't actually provide 6 inches of lift. Esentially your lift comes from the six inch strut spacer. To get 8" you would need to swap out the 6" spacer for a set of 6" coilovers and a 2" leveling kit.

Yes, I know what a spindle is. But no your truck uses a 6"strut spacer assuming it's the pro comp stage 1. Like Buxton said the only way to get 8" is to do coilovers and a 2" spacer.

He is talking about the pro-comp cast spindle included with the lift kit. I'm not sure if it is 6 inches longer than stock, assuming it is 6 inch kit, but it's longer than stock. I'm pretty sure this idea wouldn't work. To make it work you would need to use a 8" drop bracket for the longer 8 inch spindle as the angle of your cv-axle and bottom ball joint will still be at it's max with a 6 inch drop bracket. No one makes a 8 inch spindle and the Rize kit is more like a 8.5-9" over the stock spindle, it also weights almost double the of the pro-comp spindle.

The only benefit you would have from this Frankenstein setup of running a longer spindle would be a better upper ball joint angle and that is it at a static ride height assuming you left the spring and spacer the same. Adding a longer spindle to a 6 inch kit won't let you lift the truck to 10 inches. In reality if you did use a Rize spindle on a pro-comp kit, the top of the Rize spindle would crash into the upper control arm upon compression. You'll also have more un-sprung weight on each side of the truck which would make it drive a more sluggish.

If you want an 8-10 inch kit buy a Rize or other brand that make big kits.
