rear FX4 suspension replacement

I have a 2002 FX4 that was in an accident. The body shop replaced the complete rear end including springs. Now the truck sits level (no rake) and when I load anything in the bed, the rear sags like crazy. It never used to do that. Is there a chance the rear suspension they put on was for a standard 150 (not FX4)? Are they different? What would be my best fix to get the rake back and to keep it from squatting so bad? Any help is appreciated.

I don't think the suspension is different on a FX4, it just had skid plates and a little different interior. You could either do an add-a-leaf or a bigger rear block to get the rake back. Add-a-leaf will make it ride a little stiffer, but it won't sag as much. With a block, it will raise it about 2" depending on what size block you get, but it might still squat some. You could also do air bags. They bolt right up and you can keep it level with a large load in the bed or a big trailer.

How many leafs are in your leaf pack? Is there still the stock block?

Not sure how many leafs. I'll look and include a pic when I get home to do that.

They put the block on wrong. It's supposed to be under the leafs!

Wow, they put the block on wrong. I would say take it back to the shop and have them fix it, but I don't know if you want them working on your truck. Its not too hard to take the ubolts off and put the block under the springs instead of on top.

Great! Thanks for the info. I agree, I think it's best to do it myself.

wow that funny, i can see em like standing around like why are the u bolts too long and we have this extra peice, oh its a spacer so the u bolts fit awesome! lol i removed my blocks myself on my old ranger to level it, it was a 2wd edge so it had the 4wd suspension, super easy.

The body shop guy said he had a helper to do the work with the suspension. I'm never going there again. On a good note - I jacked/blocked the truck and got the blocks switched around in a couple hours last night. The truck looks like it's supposed to, now. Thanks to the responders in helping to identify the issue. Easy fix.

I was looking a couple nights ago and couldnt figure out how they managed to do it. My springs dont have the space on the top.
