I kinda like the grille, but I think all of that chrome in the front is clashing with the rest of the truck.

lol oh yeah? this comin' from the guy with a lifted 4.6l 2wd? and chrome all over the front end? just kiddin' bud. i went with a grille like that because it's less common than the billet grilles or the mesh crap... or that over use "Rockstar" junk...

Haha fair enough. I almost broke down and PTM'd my grill surround the other day, but I'm still holding out hope that I'm gonna find a 99+ bumper and grille sometime soon. After that the chrome will be gone! haha

I bought it from an outfit called "Superbee" in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. $480CND. www.superbee.ca they actually have a pretty impressive selection considering the size of their facility...

For the price, surprisingly clean and smooth. However, the picture they have on the website isn't the same as the actual hood as seen on my rig...

The truck looks great. I am considering installing the FabTech lift on my 2001 F150 Lariat 4X4. I would love to see a profile photo so that I can get a feel for what my truck would look like. I had not given gearing much thought but will address that for sure if I lift and add larger tires. Did you install the lift yourself? If you did I would love to know what the experience was like and if you would recommend it to someone with limited skills and time. I have a friend with a garage and lift. He may be able to help when he has time but I hate to take on a project that might overwhelm me when I only have a weekend to do it in. SMM
