Talking Finally got the lift finished!!

I finally finished putting on my lift It's a 6 inch Fabtech with dirt logic front coil overs and performance rear shocks (model# K2003). Me and my friends had to put about 25 hours of work into it, but we finally got it. We didn't have access to a lift or air tools, so we put it up on blocks and had to use hand tools for everything. My truck is a 2006 SLT 4X4 with the 5.4 V8. The rims are 17x9 Procomp 7089 series with 4.75" of backspacing, and the tires are 35x12.50 R17 nitto mud grapplers. The only other mods on the truck so far are Motive 4.56 gears front and rear and the gotts air intake with a K&N drop-in air filter. The 4.56s are perfect with 35s, by the way. Magnaflow true dual exhaust coming soon!

Now somebody needs to tell me how to get pictures on here. I've got them off the camera's memory card and saved on my computer. Now how do I get them onto this forum?

Well the links do take you to the correct pictures. How do I get the pictures off photobucket.com to show up as pictures instead of links to pictures?

I think I got it now. Here are the pre-lift pictures

Here's after the lift before rims and tires

And here it is with the rims and 35s

Close-up of the rim and mud grappler

Looks good. Now the bumpers are calling to rid of the Chrome. Rustoleum bed liner those bad boys black and would look awesome with the black wheels and its pretty cheap.

Nice! How do you like the Dirt Logics? I'm hoping to get some Dirt Logics ordered soon for my truck. I got my lift/tires/wheels installed at CTU in Opelika back in November.

I haven't had a chance to try them off-road yet. During the first 500 miles on the new gears you're not supposed to tow anything, stay under 65mph, and not drive off-road. They seem good so far, but haven't really been tested yet. It rides about the same as stock on the road. Very good handling. That Fabtech lift is very high quality.

A few of my friends have done that. I'm going to get a winch bumper on the front eventually and get it sprayed with bed liner

Sounds good. Where did you get your gears installed and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking? You can shoot me a pm if you want so your thread stays on topic.

I got them installed by a local truck shop (Truck Customs). Me and my friends put my lift on, but I figured the gears were too precise and complicated and easy to mess up for me to try. They charged me about $1,100 for parts (gears, bearings, and all the other install parts) and 6 hours of labor at $65/hour so $390. With tax and shop supplies it was right at $1,600 total. They are perfect for 35s. I love them
