Help!
I have an 03 F-150 Supercrew
What i want to know, is what do i need to put into my suspension to allow me to basically go 50+ on hard terrain in Montana, Washboards, stubble fields, terrain for "Baja" type vehicles. Help would be great!
I Basically want the SVT Raptor in 2003 Supercrew form :P
I also dont want a lecture on how equipment is meant for that and blah blah, im willing to drop 10 grand to get this thing going. keep that in mind.

2 or 4wd?
look into camburg and total chaos (top 2 brands off top of my head) for a full long travel set up. you can easily be 6k in just for the front, then you need to figure out the rear. someone else with a little more knowledge will chime in but a full long travel set up is what you are wanting.
other than suspension you will need fiberglass fenders (~$500 for front set IIRC and not sure on rears), wheels, tires, paint etc. you can easily surpass your 10k budget if you want it done correctly.
consider a roll cage as well if you plan to use the suspension to it's potential.

Im not looking into making a full out Prerunner, i just want a set up that can take high speed abuse and i can still drive it on the road.
Basically i want a Ford SVT Raptor in 2003 style.
Its 4x4 lol

Here's a rough list of things you'll need
1. Front suspension anywhere from about 4k up not including shocks (Camburg, HnM, Dixon Bro's just to name a few)
2. Front Fiberglass about 400-500
3. Front prerunner bumper 300 up depending where you get it made (it helps with approach anges)
Rear Suspension
1. You can either run deavers or link the truck (linking cost a lot more) deavers will run you about 800
2. rear shocks you'll probably need a set of 2.5 16" shocks, I'd recommend a remote resi shock so about 700 there
3. bed cage for the rear shocks about 400-500
4. rear fiberglass about 600
If you plan on going airborne I'd recommend caging the truck with interior, engine, and bed all tied together cage wise. Our frames bend easily between the cab and bed. thats about 3k or so.
Next your gonna need a decent set of wheels and tires, 35's or up depending on the kit you choose.
Then the other expensive part, labor.

Oh and that list is basic bottom prices for long travel that will take the abuse and still let you hit the road and make it back home. And since your 4x4 be ready to dish out a lot more for front suspension than a 2x4.
